Doing a review on this film without giving away the trailer is proving to be difficult, but I will try. I looked forward to watching this film with anticipation since I saw the trailer in April. I watched the first one and I loved it. Yesterday, 22/09/13, I booked a ticket at the cinema. I sat on the best seat to give me the best position to be scared.  I had a big bucket of popcorn and a large coke just for selfish me. Yes! I was brave to watch this horror movie alone. Give me a crown for bravery (I’m kidding).

Then the show begins with ‘The House.” The scariest house in town. Where all the ghosts waited to possess the carcases of an unlucky father and his son that leave their bodies when they fall asleep. From here it went back to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left the Lambert family dangerously connected to the spirit world.

The most scary part in this film was when the ghost hunter revealed a room filled with dead women covered with blood-splotched sheets. Their bodies, unfound until now, having been hidden by the dead serial killer. As you watch deep into the film, it all starts making sense. The best moment in the film for me was when Elsie appeared. It was a short joyful moment away from the evil things that were happening.

Let say Insidious 2, was the answer as to WHY the Lamberts were being subjected to ghoulish interest.  As a big horror fan, I give this film 5 stars for a nice ending to the story. REST IN PEACE INSIDIOUS.
