I embraced my rich Igbo culture to attend the first International Igbo Women Awards held at Dream Centre,London,N15 4RY on the 8th of October, 2016. The founder Duchess Nena Ubani, is an active community leader/TV presenter who is actively pursuing to unite and empower Igbo women across the globe by recognising their achievement and tackling prevalence social vices such as domestic violence.
An undeniable sense of belonging captivated my innermost being upon my arrival at the event. It was a fun fill night.
